Lease package: 73% compensation pulling
company trailer or 83% pulling your own trailer. Payment is
made 7 business days after turning in the necessary
paperwork. Fuel Taxes are charged back to the O/O. There is
no escrow account and no other chargeback’s are made to the
O/O other than items purchased through the company such as
fuel, tarps, repair service, etc. Each O/O may use the
company Fed Ex account to get paperwork to the office with
the chargeback’s for service taken from the O/O settlement
at the end of the month. After O/O has been with the company
30 days he may apply to have his settlement delivered by
direct deposit.

Bobtail insurance is purchased by company on
each Owner Operator. We do offer a rider program to
qualified O/O. Occupational Accident insurance coverage is
required. O/O may participate in the company sponsored
program for such coverage.

Recruitment and performance bonuses are paid.
We provide a good work environment, and better than average
home time. Deadhead miles are kept to a minimum and every
effort is made to make each O/O comfortable and happy with
his job. Physical damage insurance on O/O tractor is
available for purchase through the company.

Excellent paying freight will net to the
truck approximately 1.37 @ 73% or 1.56 @ 83% loaded and
empty miles. (average is for ALL miles traveled number
current for Sept 2009)

Our company hauls oversize freight,
structural, steel, machinery, equipment, and some lumber.

Owner Operators must furnish their own base
plate, email capable cell phone, and all necessary equipment
for flatbed work as detailed in the company policy.
Financing and assistance are available in these areas.

Each O/O must be able to scale a minimum of
48K with a flatbed, and a minimum of 46K with a step deck.
Each O/O must have clean, well-maintained equipment able to
pass a Federal inspection, with a fender mounted mirror on
the passenger side.

Spitale Transportation has a quality customer
base created from years of dedicated customer service
provided by each Spitale office. While Spitale does utilize
outside brokerage freight to supplement its loads there are
many opportunities available throughout the network for
customer direct freight.

Spitale Transportation is dedicated to safe
operations. Each O/O will be routed through the Searcy, AR
terminal for inspections every six months. Additionally
Spitale Transportation conducts 1 on 1 training sessions
with each O/O under lease. Two training sessions per year
are required.
