North IL to the Hill Country of Central TX

Electrical Switchgear transported @ 16-8T. With our survey completed over the Christmas Holidays we were ready to roll Tuesday morning after New Years. The entire convoy arrived on site for delivery Friday afternoon. Our fleet of Mini Decks, once again proved to be the perfect platform for this type of move.

South Alabama to North Mississippi - 38-7Lx16-5Wx15T.

By using our extendible mini deck we were able to make the move without involving any utilities or the added expense of a bucket truck. Night movement was required in AL along with blue light escorts in both AL and MS.

31 loads of ductwork raging from 22-1W to 16-11T transported from S Arkansas to NE Arkansas.

Over the course of 2 months, we moved the entire project. Some loads were required to be moved on Sunday, but all were kept under the 17’T threshold because of our fleet of 30 Ton Mini Decks.

280,000# Forge Press Move

Spitale Transportation, in conjunction with our carrier partner, successfully completes a forge press move for a core customer. After almost a full year in planning, the move was completed in two days. The press was valued at $800,000, weighed 280,000# and measured 23’L x 12’6”W x 8’3”T. Using a Goldhopher platform, the press was moved from the railhead for approximately 80 miles over rural roads into the customer’s building. Spitale Transportation was proud to participate in the management of this move and could not have been more pleased with the superb performance of our carrier partner.
